Bernard L. Barker, age 87, of Nottingham, PA, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. He was born in Little Britain, PA on September 20, 1935 to the late Roscoe Barker and Stella Mae (Blevins) Barker.

Bernard was a truck driver for most of his life. He enjoyed hunting and tinkering with random things that he could get his hands on. Bernard loved telling a good joke and would talk your ear off. His greatest joy in life was spoiling his grandchildren and spending time with them. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bernard is survived by his wife, Betty Jo Barker of Nottingham, PA; daughter, Donna Waite of Nottingham, PA; eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; brother, Bobby Barker of PA; and sister; Linda Walter of North East, MD.

Bernard was preceded in death not only by his parents, but also by his daughter, Deborah J. Wood; Four brothers; Eddie Barker, Clay Barker, Richard Barker and Willard Barker and also his sister, Ruth Peachin.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 2, 2022 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD 21911 where friends and family may begin visiting at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Gracelawn Memorial Park.
