Benjamin King McKeown, age 37, of Elkton, MD, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2013. He is the son of William Wallace “Wally” and Barbara (King) McKeown.
Ben enjoyed fishing. He was also an avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens. What he really enjoyed was spending time with his family but above all being with his two daughters who made his life complete , they were his world and they will miss him dearly.
Benjamin is survived by his parents Wally and Barbara McKeown of Elkton, MD; daughters Destiny and Trinity McKeown of Elkton, MD; brothers, Bill McKeown, Jr. (fiancé Sandra Hall) of Elkton, MD; and Tobe McKeown (wife Christina) of Smyrna, DE; an uncle, Edward McKeown and wife Cheryl of Elkton, MD; and aunt, Cindy Figiel (husband Christopher) of Millington, MD; numerous nieces and nephews who loved hanging out with their “Uncle Benny”.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mitchell and Mae McKeown of Elkton, MD; and Tobe and Alice King of Millington, MD; and an uncle, Dennis King of Millington, MD.
Services will be held at 1pm on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 259 E. Main St., Elkton, MD 21921. Friends and family may visit 2 hours prior to the service beginning at 11AM. Burial will follow the service at Elkton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made out to the Destiny and Trinity McKeown Trust Fund and mailed to the funeral home.
