Benjamin Benson Buck, 81, of Newark, DE went to be with the Lord Friday, March 20, 2015.
Born December 2, 1933 in Rising Sun, MD, Benjamin was the son of the late Claude and Ella (Pogue) Buck. Benjamin served as a photographer in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Lay Witness Mission and helped start the Christian Motorcycle Association of Delaware. He enjoyed witnessing for the Lord, singing, and CB Radios. His most cherished memories were those spent with his wonderful family, church family, and friends.
Benjamin is survived by his loving wife of nearly sixty years, Betty Jane Buck; son, Benjamin Gary Buck; three grandchildren, Jamin Corey Buck and his wife Randi, Crystal Lynn Reichert, and Craig James Reichert; and great grandson, Shane Jamison Slaw. Including his parents, he was preceded in death by two children, Eugene Buck and Susan Reichert; two sisters, and one brother.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Bible Fellowship Church of Newark, 808 Old Baltimore Pike, Newark, DE 19702, where family and friends may visit beginning at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made payable to Bible Fellowship Church of Newark in Ben’s memory and sent in care to R.T. Foard & Jones, Inc., 122 W. Main St., Newark, DE 19711.
