Beatrice M. Stout passed away October 15, 2017 at the age of 96. She was born and raised in the “Forty Acres” of Wilmington, DE to the late William B. Stewart and Lillian M. White.
Beatrice was a life member of the Elsmere Fire Company’s Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Harold J. (Mike) Stout in 1976, married in 1946; and brother, William G. Stewart, Sr. Beatrice is survived by her daughters, Nancy L. Reed and Sherri L. Haller, two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Seasons Hospice, Union Hospital Palliative Care and Right at Home for their exceptional care and compassion.
A graveside service for Beatrice will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Cathedral Cemetery in Wilmington, DE. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to “Elsmere Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary” and sent in care of the R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A. 259 E. Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921.
