Beatrice Ann ‘Trixy’ Reichenbach, 45, of North East, MD, passed away suddenly at her home September 3, 2012.
Born in Elkton, MD on April 8, 1967, Trixy was the daughter of Karl Alan Reichenbach and Edwina Gilbert. She was a 1986 graduate of North East High School, and served on her class reunion committee. Trixy also attended Cecil County Vo Tech. She worked for many years at Zion Market and Deli and also at the Flying J. She was a member of the Community Fire Company of Rising Sun since July 1987, with her most recent active service as a member of the Rehab 8 team. Trixy will be remembered by her family and many friends as a generous woman, always ready to help others.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her stepfather, Joe Gilbert; stepmother, Linda Reichenbach; sister, Candice Y. Reichenbach, her half brother Joey Gilbert, Jr.; step brothers, Richard Gerdom and Jeff Jones; her step sister, Kimberly MacCauley; and her grandfather, Andrew Spratt of Elkton, MD. She was preceded in death by grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Lewis Singleton and Mrs. Elizabeth Spratt.
A service honoring her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday September 8, 2012 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 S. Queen St., Rising Sun, MD 21911. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Friday evening from 6 – 8 pm. Burial will be in Cherry Hill Methodist Cemetery.
