Beatrice Juliann Brown, 93, of Elkton, MD, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 6, 2022.  Born in Good Will, WV on July 9, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Elise (Harmon) Taylor and the devoted wife of the late Martin Luther Brown Sr.

Beatrice worked for Wilmington Dry Goods where she retired and later, she also worked for Publix food store when she lived in Florida.  She was a devoted Christian who attended the Church of Christ in Elkton, MD.  Beatrice was the proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 15 great, great grandchildren and spending time with them brought her great joy.  She loved being outdoors and going on walks was one of her favorite things to do when she was younger.  Beatrice loved growing flowers, tomato plants in her garden.

She is survived by her children: Barry Brown Sr. (Judy) of North East, MD; Martin Brown Jr. (Patty) of Irrigon, OR; Kathy Baker (Dennis) of Elkton, MD; Greg Brown of Princeton, IN; brother Woodrow and sisters; Shirley and Ocie.

In addition to her parents and husband, Beatrice is preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Whelchel and son Larry Brown: her sisters; Sadie, Mary, Effie and Gladys: and her brothers; Clarence, Erie and Leonard.

A Funeral service will be held on October 18, 2022 at 1:00pm at R.T. Foard, 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD. 21921 where friends and family may begin visiting at 12:00pm.
