I was just a kid when I met and had the opportunity to work with Barry back in the late 80's. He was always so friendly and I was so impressed by his dedication to his work and his customers. He would take daily, detailed notes about his contacts with them and followed up on any and all questions or requests with enthusiasm. In recent years, we reconnected and Barry invited my husband and I to come participate in the car show he so loved at SunFest, which we really enjoyed. He will be missed! Deepest condolences to Diane and family. Dale & Joanna Crouch

Deepest sympathy to the Cameron family in the loss of Barry. The Cameron's have always had a special place in our hearts as my father Pete Hughes worked at Algers for over 40 years before his accident. Funny thing, I last saw Barry at Kreider's Market last summer and he recognized me! He always would tell us that my dad taught him how to drive those oil trucks! My family has many fond memories growing up as kids going to those Alger oil picnics and events. Barry, you will surely be missed. Condolences from the Hughes Family.

I am so very sorry to hear this.Barry was a great guy. He , Bobby and I grew up together in Rising Sun. As little children we would ride tricycles up the street in front of Sun Phsrmacy and also we celebrated many birthday parties together. I send prayers for.peace to the entire family. God Bless you all.

Barry was one of the nicest guys I ever met. I cannot believe this happened. Barry just hired me in April. I will make him proud in Heaven as I build this territory to his liking. Everyone will miss you Barry. One day, Barry was telling me how he played Baseball. Barry must have been a tremendous player. So I guess now he's playing Baseball with Jesus. I know this much...whenever you hear a Bell ring, it's Barry getting his Wings. Earth just lost an Angel, while Heaven gained a great one. With Love and Respect, Brian Rylee

I'm so heart broken over my wonderful friend and coworker. We were so excited about the new division at Dixieland that had started. Then when I found out I had cancer he was so supportive to me and encouraged me daily. We have been like family because were there from the beginning. It is my hope to carry on his wish the we would strive to be an elite division. The hundreds of deliveries I made not one customer ever had nothing but good to say about Barry when they would ask me how he was doing. He passed on my Birthday His last words to me was Rawhide you are going to beat this cancer and I love and appreciate you buddy We called each other by our old CB handles. I called him BearKat and he called me Rawhide. RIP my dearest friend

It is with great sorrow that members of Post 194 learned of Barry's passing. The thoughts and prayers of all our members go out to Barry's family. We realize that there are no words to adequately express our sympathy, or replace the good-hearted laughter of a voice now stilled. We do pray that the family can take some comfort in the knowledge that Barry is now at rest and is at home with his Creator. May God bless him and keep him.

Was so sad to hear about the loss of Barry. We went to school together and still remained friends after we got out of school. He was one of the nicest guys in Rising Sun as were his parents. He also had a very nice wife. Such a good couple.
