I had the pleasure of having 24 years of wonderful memories with Barbara Parker. What I'd like to share is just a few of the hundreds of things she taught me: 1) kindness and patience 2) always root for the underdog 3) never forget a birthday 4) always remind your husband of having his keys and wallet And as I said these are just a few.. I will deeply miss her. She was a devoted wife, compassionate mother, loving sister and proud grandmother. Barbara will continue to live on with the many things she shared, taught and demonstrated. My prayers are with everyone who knew her and mourn her loss.

Dear Parker Family I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers go out to you. I'll always remember your Mom's laugh during Christmas Rou Robin & a black & checker cake one Halloween. The memory of a good person is a blessing. So we have all been blessed, just for knowing her. Say not in grief that "She is no more" but live in thankfulness that she was.

We have known Barbara for 20 yrs. The first time we met her was when my daughter announced she was engaged to her son Michael. We liked her instantly. She was never without a smile and was always able to keep any conversation going. Over the 20 yrs, we both moved to Florida. First her & Doug & than my daughter & Michael & than we followed much later. In the last 2 yrs., we became much closer through family functions & our grandchildren. We will miss Barbara very much. Our prayers are with Doug & their family.

I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. Parker. She was one of my favorite parents growing up, I remember sitting in the family room and just talking and laughing with her. She always made me feel like I was at home. I also remember when she and Mr. Parker would go to England I would ask them to buy me all sorts of stuff like soccer cleats, soccer magazines, and souvenirs. She always came through, and looking back now that must've been such a headache but she never complained. John, Sue and Michael...you were really lucky to have such a wonderful Mother!

Mrs Parker was an incredible person , funny & full of life. She taught me how to play "Angry Birds" . Something I'll never forget. My Prayers go out to the whole Parker family and May God's light shine upon your hearts at this time.

Some of my earliest memories are of coming by the War Memorial with the Poppies in Sandhurst on our way to Auntie Barbara and Uncle Douglas' house. It was such fun coming to visit. Auntie Barbara's infectious laugh was wonderful. I could always rely on her laughing at my un-fuuny jokes. I will miss my dear aunt.
