Audrey Louise Goodie of Rising Sun, MD, age 86, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022.
She was born in Elizabethton, Tennessee to the late Bruce Floyd Lovelace and Ella Jane (Hyder)
Lovelace.
Louise worked for over 30 years as a hairdresser before she began her reign as “Queen” of
Goodies’, Inc.working alongside her late husband Marion. She enjoyed going to the beach,
fishing and spending time in her flower garden.
Louise is survived by two children: Debbie (Brian) VanDyke and John (Yvonne) Goodie; three
grandchildren: Chad (Samantha) Smith, Connor (Lina) Goodie and Sean Goodie (Christina
Ziegler); and great-granddaughter, Evie Smith.
Services for Louise will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers,
memorial contributions may be made payable to “The Community Fire Company of Rising Sun”
or “Amedisys Foundation” and sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, PO Box 248, Rising Sun,
MD 21911.
