Hi Sweetie....That is how this wonderful lady always greeted everyone. She will be terribly missed by everyone, especially her Grange friends. I have known Audrey most of my life. She gave me perms as I was growing up and always did my hair for special occasions. I even baby sat for her at different times. The whole Correll Family loved her. My deepest sympathy to all of her family.

I am sorry for your loss. My mother was at Millcroft from June until December. I always enjoyed talking to Audrey when I would see her on the porch. She was had a wealth of knowledge about Newark. She made my visits more enjoyable. I will always remember her!

Deepest condolences to the Brooks family. Audrey was the sweetest soul. Some of my fondest memories are of spending time with Betsy and her family at their house. So much laughter and fun!!! Also, at Indian River Inlet tenting with the family, back when you could camp on the south side of the bridge. Halloween parties at the Grange were also a highlight. My mother, Shirley Heath, thought the world of Audrey and loved her dearly. So do I. Audrey, with her good heart, would take her homemade vegetable soup or delicious chicken and dumplings to my Mom and they would laugh all afternoon. It has been my honor to have had several phone conversations with Audrey in recent years. May our Lord fill Audrey's absence with His presence and all consuming love so the grieving will be bearable, complete and of short duration. The reunion with her dear Melvin is a blessing. Much love to all.

Audrey and Melvin were my parent's (Moose and Darlene Morgan) BFFs. Their almost weekly Pinochle games (while country and western music played in the background) were always amusing and sometimes rowdy. Many happy memory of them both as well as Barby, Betsy and Gov (the three children I knew the best). I have been gone from Newark for over 45 years but would always try to stop by Glasgow and say hi when I could.

Audrey and my mother, Darlene Morgan, were best friends since they were 12 years old and remained friends until my mother passed away. I have many fond memories growing up with them as a child and as an adult. When my father passed I took his place at their Friday night pinochle games. We would just laugh all night long. When my mother got Alzheimer's disease she never forgot who they were. I had a hard time getting her to go out anywhere, but on Sunday nights she would look forward to going and having dinner with them. They could always make her laugh and smile. When my mom would say or do something crazy,Audrey would just laugh and shake her head and say, "God bless Darlenie"(that's what she called her). She will be missed by many people.
