Ashley Marie DiMeglio, 25, of Elkton, MD, passed away on February 26, 2014 at Union Hospital. She was born on December 6, 1988 in Media, PA. She was the daughter of Francis J. DiMegilo and Tina M. Veasey.
Ashley was a 2007 graduate of Avon Grove High School and was a member of the color guard. She competed in the Cecil County Demolition Derby at Fair Hill, Maryland and won the four cylinder event in 2008. Ashley was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, Ashley is survived by her stepfather, Donald Veasey, of Elkton, MD; son, Ethan Clark; daughter, Elysia Clark; sisters, Heather Lessy and Tiffany Blevins of Elkton, MD, and Larisa DiMeglio all of Deltona, FL; brother, Michael DiMeglio of Deltona, FL; stepsister, Jacquline Veasey of Elkton, MD, grandfather, Lawrence Cheety, Sr., of Wilmington, Delaware; and an uncle, Lawrence Cheety, Jr., of Wilmington, Delaware. Ashley is preceded in death by her grandmother, Sarah Cheety, in 1999.
Services for Ashley will be held at 2PM on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921, where family and friends may visit beginning at 12PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to the DiMeglio Children Education Fund and sent in care to the funeral home.
