Armando Liberti, Jr., age 79, of Rehoboth Beach, DE passed away peacefully on Friday, July 19, 2024. He was born on February 25, 1945, in Queens, NY. Armando was the son of the late Armando Liberti, Sr., and Yolanda (Cervoni) Liberti.
Armando was a proud United States Army veteran, serving for 22 months during the Vietnam War. After his military service, Armando dedicated himself to a career in the construction business as a Home Builder. His love for building and remodeling homes was not just a profession but a true passion. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, collecting stamps, cooking and playing pool. Armando was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed being with his family. He adored his grandchildren and cherished every moment he spent with them. Armando will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Armando is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, JoAnn Liberti, sons: Vincent Liberti (wife, Laurie), Armand Liberti (wife, Lisa), and Lewis Liberti; grandchildren: Brendon Liberti, Keirsten Liberti, Nicholas Liberti, and Joseph Liberti; sister, Adrian Del Vicario; brother, Lewis Liberti (wife, Kathy).
In addition to his parents, Armando is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Anthony Del Vicario.
A memorial service celebrating Armando’s life will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 12:00 PM at R.T. Foard & Jones, Inc., 122 West Main Street, Newark, DE, 19711, where family and friends may begin visiting at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to “Wounded Warrior Project” and sent in care of funeral home.
