Penny, Roger, and Lou, So sorry for your loss. I remember your Mom as a wonderful and loving Christian lady and she was like a mother to me when we were growing up. You guys were some of my first friends when we came to Maryland in 1969! I have a ton of wonderful memories. I will never forget going on (13 week) summer vacations with you guys. I especially remember the Sunday rides we took. Sometimes it was a challenge getting back in time for Sunday evening church service. I secretly always hoped we were too late but your Mom & Dad would always make sure we made it back on-time. How could I forget the trips to the tree farm at Christmas to pick out a tree (or two). The tree(s) were so big that they took-up at least 1/3rd of the living room (and you had a big living room!). Your Mom LOVED Christmas time! I experienced many things with your family that I didn't get to experience with my own family and I'm thankful for that! Take care and always remember ... Mom is up in Heaven with Dad, just waiting to see us all again!

Aunt Annette: You were my favorite aunt. I always remember things I did when I'd stay the summers with you and Uncle Roger and Lou, Penny and Carver. What a great tight family. Always living life to the fullest. I know you are where you want to be now with Uncle Roger and my Mom and Aunt Marie. (Oh my) I will forever love and miss you. Love, Ornelia

Sister Annette, You were a friend, a Sister in Christ and a joy to serve beside at our church. It was a pleasure knowing you and a privilege being your pastor. I will miss our bowling and teasing each other when we threw a gutter. I will miss you looking at your watch from your designated pew when I went too long preaching. I will miss seeing you in the vestibule with those white fury boots waiting for church to start. I will miss seeing you on the side lines of the softball games in your lawn chair. I will miss you. But I know you are by your Jesus praising His name for dying for you. I know you are taking in all that heaven has to offer. I know you are walking with Roger by the tree of life. I know you are decorating your mansion as we speak. I know you are talking with Moses, Paul, John, Pastor Wyatt and Pastor Cunningham. I know you wouldn't come back for anything this world has to offer. I am looking forward to the day when we can have church again in heaven and I get to sit in the pews with you while our Savior Jesus Christ preaches to us. (I promise I won't sit in your pew when I get there)
