Anne Carla Baker, 49, of North East, MD, passed away unexpectedly August 15, 2013 at her home. Born in Jennersville, PA on April 12, 1964, Anne was the daughter of Emily Sharpless Baker and the late Joseph Henry Baker.
Anne was a 1985 graduate of the Child Development Center of Coatesville, PA and a member of the First Baptist Church of Kennett Square, PA. She was a committed Christian who was very giving and caring for others.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by three sisters, Cheryl Finnan of Lincoln University, PA, Joy Chamberlain of Elkton, MD and Betty Jo Truslow of North East, MD; two brothers, David Robin Baker of Tehachapi, CA and Richard Nelson Baker of New Castle, DE; and two aunts, Mary Ellen Sharpless of Dutton, VA and Marjorie Sharpless of Topping, VA. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Joseph Baker.
A service honoring her life will be held at Charlestown Missionary Baptist Church, 1168 W. Old Philadelphia Rd, North East, MD 21901 on Monday August 26, 2013 at 11:00AM with a visitation beginning at 10AM. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery in Kennett Square, PA.
