Anna M. Hill, 84, of Elkton, MD, formerly of Salisbury, MD, passed away April 15, 2013 at Genesis Nursing Home.
Born in Salisbury, MD on August 23, 1928, Anna was the daughter of the late Elwood and Matilda Foulks Ruark. She was a homemaker. She was an avid reader and was devoted to her family.
She is survived by four daughters, Patricia Long and her husband Edward of Elkton, MD, Deborah Phillips and husband William of Tucson, AZ, Peggy Smith of Danville, AL, and Charlotte Mayo and husband Samuel of Salisbury, MD and a son Charles Hill, Jr. and wife Anna of Oshkosh, WI; 11 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Hill Sr..
A service honoring her life will be held at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main St., Elkton, MD 21921 on Friday April 19, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Friends and family may call at the funeral home beginning at 12 noon. Burial will be private. Flowers are welcome, or donations may be made to Amedysis Hospice c/o the funeral home.
