Andrea Hazel Ingham, 76, of Conowingo, Maryland, passed away on July 25, 2026. Born on November 22, 1949, in Baltimore City, Maryland, Andrea was the daughter of the late Andrew Defassio and Ruth Virginia (Troutman) Defassio.
Andrea lived life with joy, caring, kindness and deep faith. She was a graduate of Dulaney High School in Timonium, Maryland. She met her husband Larry while attending the University of Maryland, where they crossed paths while dancing at a local restaurant. Andrea loved music and dancing, especially country line dancing, which she and her beloved husband, Larry, enjoyed together. They even taught line dancing lessons, sharing their passion with others. Andrea also enjoyed staying active through fitness, swimming, tennis, and, in her younger years, horseback riding. Whether relaxing by the pool, soaking up the sun at the beach, or spending time with family, she embraced life’s simple pleasures.
An avid sports fan, Andrea faithfully cheered for all Maryland Terps teams, the Baltimore Ravens, the Baltimore Orioles and especially enjoyed watching tennis. She loved playing card games, particularly Bridge. She indulged in anything chocolate and peanut butter, and always enjoyed a good margarita. Additionally, she found delight in attending live plays and music concerts, and spending evenings watching her favorite movies and television shows. When her only grandchild Bella was born, her heart overflowed with love and she cheered her on in everything she did, especially volleyball!
Andrea was a dedicated employee at Smyth Jewelers in Timonium, Maryland for 27 years. Andrea and Larry enjoyed the adventure of traveling. Together they traveled throughout Europe and proudly visited almost all 50 US states, creating countless cherished memories along the way. The Outer Banks in North Carolina always held the most special place in her heart as she experienced 30 years of wonderful vacations with family and friends.
Above all, Andrea had a love for her family beyond words. She enjoyed every minute shared with them, especially vacations, birthday celebrations, and holiday gatherings. She absolutely adored her granddaughter, Bella. She always had so many fun things planned for them and was constantly instilling her good values. She was so proud of her Bella and all of her accomplishments.
Andrea’s faith was the foundation of her life. She was a devoted member of Conowingo Baptist Church and Grace Fellowship Church in Timonium, Maryland. Her kindness, warmth, and steadfast belief touched the lives of many.
Andrea is lovingly survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Lawrence D. “Larry” Ingham; her daughter, Corinne Terra and her husband, Adam; and her cherished granddaughter, Bella Terra.
