Amy took great joy in online shopping. She loved Brian, her children, her cat, Bandit, and her dog, Simon. Amy was an awesome mother, who will always be remembered for loving life, laughing, and doing anything for anyone.

Amy is survived by her husband, Brian Gray; three children: Tyler Gray, Averi Gray, and Aspen Gray; brother, Donald Thompson; and mother-in-law, Janet Franklin.

In addition to her parents, Amy was preceded in death by her sister, Lisa Thompson.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921 where family and friends are welcomed to join at 10:00AM. Burial will be held privately.

Amy Lynn Charles, age 49, of Elkton, MD passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024. She was born in Wilmington, DE on December 14, 1974, to the late Rodney Eugene Charles and Patricia Elvira (Cannon) Charles. Amy took great joy in online shopping. Aspen Gray? If you are referring to the child she abandoned in the hospital, she has the name of the family that saved her life, and it is not Gray.

I was unaware of her passing until yesterday. Amy and I went to school together from 1st til 8th grade. She was very intelligent, super friendly, and easy to talk to. A good friend. Godspeed to her and all of her family and friends.

To the Charles Family,~ Brian, Tyler, Avery I am SO desperately missing Amy already. The thought of her quirkiness and knowledge during our 3hr long discussion will severely be missed. I could always come to Amy for any decision I made.. no judgement! I hope that your Hearts will not be heavy, as in knowing that's something she would want.
