Ambubhai Ganeshbhai Patel, age 66, of North East, MD passed away April 7, 2018. He was born September 17, 1951 in Surat, India to the late Ganeshbhai D. and Gometben G. Patel.

Ambubhai was a farmer in India. When he moved to the U.S.A., Ambubhai helped his family with their hotel business. He was also a firm believer in Hinduism and would pray daily. Ambubhai loved to meet people and especially loved to laugh. He enjoyed to read books and the news. His favorite game to play was cricket.

Ambubhai is survived by his wife, Manjula Ben Patel; son, Ileshbahi Patel (Meena); daughters, Dharmishta Patel (Anil) and Reshma Sakaria (Deepak); brother, Rajubhai Patel (Panna). He is also survived by six grandchildren, thirteen nephews and nieces, and one cousin. In addition to his parents, Ambubhai is preceded in death by his sister, Gulab Patel.

A celebration of Ambubhai Patel’s life will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at the R.T. Foard Funeral Home. Family and friends may begin to visit starting at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
