Amanda Lynn Lockerman, age 29, of Earleville, MD passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at West Chester Hospital. She was born in Elkton, MD on February 7, 1988 in Elkton, MD to David W. Lockerman and the late Sherry Lynn Manchester Lockerman.
She was a special child who enjoyed and lived life to its fullest. She graduated from Elkton High school and worked at Bayside Community network. Always active, Amanda enjoyed bowling and participated many Special Olympic events. She enjoyed working out with her Wii Fit and was an expert at doing jigsaw puzzles at the highest difficulty levels. She loved her “Amanda” salads that were created just for her by the Crystal Beach market and would often indulge in a virgin Bloody Mary, which she would say made her “a little tipsy”. She loved her friends and family and often connected on Facebook, where she would play the many games and puzzles offered there. She was truly a person who “made your day a little brighter” once you met her. And she will be missed by many.
She is survived by her father, David Lockerman; a brother, David Julian Lockerman; grandmothers, Victoria Harper and Alice Lockerman; uncles, Ronnie Lynch and John Robinson; aunts, Roxanne Manchester, Dawn Robinson, Tina Coleman, and Lynn Robinson-Funk; and numerous cousins.
She is predeceased by her mother, Sherry Lynn Lockerman, and her grandfathers, John Robinson, Sr., and Stanley Harper.
A Celebration of Amanda’s Life will be held at 11AM on October 27, 2017 at R. T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 318 George Street, Chesapeake City, MD 21915.
