Kay McCullough left a message on April 1, 2015:
I met Alice in 2013 when my aunt shared her room with her. I absolutely fell in love with Alice! As she did for all new residents, permanent or rehab, Alice made a beaded name hanger for my aunt. Alice will always have a special place in my heart. She is a shining example of perseverance, kindness, love, acceptance and grace. Those who live in our hearts, are not gone, nor forgotten. I am happy she no longer must share a bathroom with men! John 5:24 24 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life." God speed, dear Alice.

I am so glad that I had the opportunity to know and love Alice. She became more than a friend to me. Often times I would go to her room at Calvert and sit with her watching the birds at the feeder. She was always a joy to be with and I will miss her very much. She will always be in my heart.
