Albert “Sonny” Lee Caldwell Jr. of Elkton, MD, age 85, passed away Friday, January 22, 2021. Sonny was born on May 15, 1935 in Baltimore, MD to the late Albert Lee Caldwell and Dorothy Testerman.
Sonny was a truck driver and an electrical lineman for many years. He belonged to the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for more than 58 years, He was an Endowment member of the National Rifle Association for 70+ years and a life member of the Moose Lodge since 1973. Sonny enjoyed boating and fishing and liked visiting the National Parks to take in the scenery.
Sonny is survived by his children: Michael Caldwell Sr., Rick Caldwell, Alan Caldwell, Sarah Edwards and Cathy Frazier; 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Sonny is preceded in death by his sons: Randolph Caldwell, Sr. and Daniel Caldwell.
Services for Sonny will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to
“The Mooseheart Foundation” and sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, PO Box 248, Rising Sun, MD 21911.
