Aaron “Edge” Myer Barlow of Colora, MD, age 78, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021. He was born in Wilmington, DE on October 12, 1943 to the late Henry Edward Barlow, Jr. and Sarah Elizabeth (MacAvaney) Barlow.

Aaron was a man of many talents who could fix any and everything. He used these skills to help neighbors, friends and family. Aaron enjoyed playing a good game of horseshoes with his brother Harry, and helping his brother Norman work on many projects. Aaron was a man who lived by the Word of God, he was born again and Baptized in the Holy Spirt. Aaron’s passion for “The Word of God” was reflected in his every action, from his researching scripture and doing studies to his ministry of helping others for all of his days. Aaron will be lovingly remembered for his boundless patience, kindness, compassion, generosity, consideration of others, talent for fixing things and love of his family and God. He will be dearly missed.

Aaron is survived by six siblings: Phyllis L. Barlow, Sarah E. Ford, John T. Barlow, Norman W. (Maralee) Barlow, Sharon R. (Thomas) Zickgraf and Gail F. (Richard) Hertach; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to his parents, Aaron was preceded in death by two siblings: Henry E. Barlow III and Martha S. Webb.

A celebration of Aaron’s life will be held at 11:30 am on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 111 S. Queen St., Rising Sun, MD 21911, where family and friends may begin visiting at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Gracelawn Memorial Park.
