Richard has been with the R. T. Foard Life Celebration Home since 2021. As with all our team members, his primary role consists of serving those who call upon us in their time of need. “It’s an honor to guide and accompany families through their time of loss,” Richard says, “for each has a unique and remarkable life story to commemorate.”

Richard is a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. After his service to our country, he went on to receive a B.S. Degree in Communications from Michigan State University. After years spent trying to find a career that gave him a sense of purpose, he finally found his true calling in the funeral profession. He went back to school and earned his A.S. Degree in Funeral Service from Miami-Dade College. Now with over 20 years of experience, he takes great pride in helping families find closure after the loss of a loved one.

Originally from South Florida, Richard has lived all over the country. He and his family moved to the area in 2014 and have called it home ever since. His family includes his wife Dr. Adriane Pereira, and their Bichon Frise, Prince Bailey. Richard enjoys all things outdoors, adventure travel, gourmet cooking, and grilling in the backyard.
