Though his time with us was brief, William brought immense joy and love to everyone. Right from the moment of his birth, he smiled and was a happy baby. William had an infectious smile and laugh that melted hearts. He had an easygoing nature and was curious about everything. William had the opportunity to explore the world with his parents. They delighted in taking him hiking in New York and sharing with him the sights and sounds of nature. In those weeks following his birth, they would take him out and about. Whether it was a simple outing or a grand adventure, William was content being with everyone. As a family, we cherished every moment spent with him, captivated by his curiosity and the way he loved playing with his toys. In our hearts, he will always remain our happy baby with the infectious smile and curious spirit.

In addition to his parents, William is survived by his uncle, Kevin Murphy (wife, Gee Rege); paternal grandmother, Stacey Galgano; aunt, Brandi Smail; and his west coast family.

Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.

How our laughter has turned into grieve our mirth to tears. Hope was full within us: no it is turned to sorrow and lamination. From the earth we come and to the Earth we go our refuge in all generations. We share in our grief, and work to make ourselves whole again until the sorrow is but a memory washing over us as the water runs in a river. We love you, William; you have left an indelible on our hearts. You will always be with us; every breeze that kisses our skin and every sunny day that warms our souls.

We were so incredibly saddened by the news of baby William's death. When Brian visited him with Mike at five weeks old he was still a sleepy baby, opening his eyes occasionally to see what was going on, and very content. We were so looking forward to visiting again, seeing him grow and flourish and discover the world. All our love to Julia and Alan.
