William “Bill” C. Worthington, 63, of Elkton, MD passed away after a long illness Monday, April 4, 2016. Born April 17, 1952 in Pennsylvania, Bill was the son of the late Arthur “Bill” Worthington and Charlotte Ella (Lincoln) Worthington.

He was a registered nurse for many years at Delaware County Memorial Hospital in Drexel Hill, PA. He owned and operated Kiddie Academy of Foulkstone in Wilmington, DE for 10 years with his wife. In his younger years, he enjoyed sailing in the Chesapeake Bay; but mostly he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Tina Marie Worthington and his 3 children, Andrew, Matthew and Elizabeth Worthington.

A memorial will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to the “Michael J. Fox Foundation” and sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD 21911.
