Timothy “Tim” R. Gravely

Timothy “Tim” R. Gravely, 72 of Elkton MD, went peacefully home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 24, 2022. He was born on July 7, 1950 in Bluefield, WV to the late Ernest and Arbutus Gravely.

Tim proudly served in the U.S. Army. He went on to work for Chrysler for over 30 years until his retirement. Tim was a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church, in Elkton, MD and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. A jack of all trades, he enjoyed working with his hands and especially enjoyed woodworking. Tim also loved to go fishing with his lifelong best friend, Jim. Most important in his life was his family. Tim was a devoted nurturer and protector of his family and always made sure they were taken care of.

Tim is survived by his cherished wife of 50 years, Deborah Gravely; two daughters: Sherrie Gravely and Tammy Diienno; two granddaughters: Nadine Diienno and Frances Diienno; beloved Beagles: Blue and Daisy Mae; and his best friend and fishing buddy, Jim Swank.

Services for Tim will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
