Thomas ‘Bozie’ Bayard Jordan, age 64, of Chesapeake City, MD, passed away on May 23, 2012. He was born on October 18, 1947 to the late Bayard S and Frances (Sartin) Jordan.
Bozie was a graduate of Bohemia Manor High School and attended the University of Maryland. He also served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1971. Bozie was a life member of the American Legion in Elkton, life member of Disabled Veterans, life member of Ducks Unlimited and a member of the Chesapeake City VFW. He was an avid sports enthusiast and loved his dogs.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Jordan of Chesapeake City, MD; son, Michael Jordan and his wife, Virginia of Jarrettsville, MD; daughter, Amy Potter and her husband, Bud of Chesapeake City, MD; step-sons, Paul Rodgers of North East, MD, Bradley Rodgers of Chesapeake City, MD and Johnathon Bandy of Chesapeake City, MD; step-daughters, Rebecca Burge of Dover, DE and Elizabeth Rodgers of Elkton, MD; and 8 grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 318 George Street, Chesapeake City, MD 21915. Friends and family may also visit from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 2:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Northern Chesapeake Hospice Foundation, c/o the funeral home.
