Thomas ‘Bozie’ Bayard Jordan, age 64, of Chesapeake City, MD, passed away on May 23, 2012. He was born on October 18, 1947 to the late Bayard S and Frances (Sartin) Jordan.

Bozie was a graduate of Bohemia Manor High School and attended the University of Maryland. He also served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1971. Bozie was a life member of the American Legion in Elkton, life member of Disabled Veterans, life member of Ducks Unlimited and a member of the Chesapeake City VFW. He was an avid sports enthusiast and loved his dogs.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Jordan of Chesapeake City, MD; son, Michael Jordan and his wife, Virginia of Jarrettsville, MD; daughter, Amy Potter and her husband, Bud of Chesapeake City, MD; step-sons, Paul Rodgers of North East, MD, Bradley Rodgers of Chesapeake City, MD and Johnathon Bandy of Chesapeake City, MD; step-daughters, Rebecca Burge of Dover, DE and Elizabeth Rodgers of Elkton, MD; and 8 grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 318 George Street, Chesapeake City, MD 21915. Friends and family may also visit from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 2:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Northern Chesapeake Hospice Foundation, c/o the funeral home.

Short comments cannot justify what you mean to me, Bozie. You were one of the few people who helped me in my darkest hour, allowed my daily, constant presence without one protest. Your tolerance of my destruction of property that had been indestructible for thirty years yet crumbled under my slightest touch! You always knew when the wizard had visited. Your obvious love of family and the way you adored Patty always warmed my heart and I Thank You for every moment! I'll miss you my friend and hope to see you again!
