Tammy Lynne (Thornton) Croom, age 47, of Rising Sun, MD, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2020. She was born on September 12, 1972 in Wilmington, DE to Larry and Linda (Ward) Thornton.
Tammy was a lifelong member of The Barn Vineyard Church in Landenberg, PA. She enjoyed attending the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire every year with her husband. Tammy had a great love for the outdoors, taking every opportunity to go hiking, camping, and mountain or road biking. She will be dearly missed by everyone lucky enough to have known her.
Tammy is survived by her beloved husband of 5 years, Darin James Croom; three sons: Wesley (Seleda) Neyman, Dylan (Hannah) Neyman, and Jesse (Kassandra) Neyman; step-son, Dylan Croom; six grandchildren; parents, Larry and Linda Thornton; sister, Rene (Michael) Lewis; two nieces: Kayla Lomax and Asia Lewis; as well as life-long friends: Susan Hilferty and Tracey and Bill Beck.
A visitation will be held at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD 21911 from 5:00-7:00pm on Wednesday, September 2, 2020. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00AM at The Barn Vineyard Church, 3224 Appleton Road, Landenberg, PA 19350 on Saturday, September 5, 2020 where friends and family may begin visiting at 10:30AM. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
