I just learned this morning of Sylvia's passing, and I am so VERY sorry! She was a lovely lady - and I had many connections with her, and when I (finally) moved to Newark, it was great to go to Newark Dental! We used to see each other at Olde Tyme Antiques & Gifts on Main St. in Newark (where I was a dealer). I knew Sylvia's kind dad and sister from Kentmore Park in Maryland, where they had a cottage and up the street my family and I lived there all year long and I raised dairy goats and was a 4H leader. I later learned that my present husband (my first one died in 1977( knew the Stout twins from Camp Rodney as teenagers! I am so sorry to lose her - but of course I know where she is now and it is a far happier place - and she is with her dear hubby. LOVELY family - all of the Stouts!!

Thank you everything you have taught me in life and for all of the good memories at the river with you and the rest of the family. I’ll never forget eating good food, playing games and bird watching with you. I love you and I’ll miss you Mommom.

This photo of beautiful Sylvia shows her light. She has been a bright compassionate light in my life for many years. I feel blessed Sylvia was my Friend. I often asked myself, how would Sylvia handle this situation. She would always handle any situation with love, hope and forgiveness. Now, she is our guiding angel. Love you always Sylvia ?

Miss Fields was my junior high school home economics teacher at Central Junior High in Newark. She was a kind, wonderful person and beautiful. All the junior high boys were in love with her. Maybe because my name was also Sylvia, she always remembered me even years later when I would run into her at the Super Fresh grocery store she would always stop and talk to me and ask what I was doing. I am so sorry for your family's loss and sorry I will not be able to attend her service since I just had a hip replacement. But have many fond memories and she taught me to sew.
