Stephen “Steve” Kent Logan, age 77, of Colora, MD, passed away on August 22, 2022. He was born in National City, CA on December 19, 1944 to the late Karl Ware Logan and Blanche Coleen Logan nee Welker.
Steve proudly served his country in the United States Navy. In 1961, he served on the Navy Aircraft Carrier USS Wasp. In 1971, he reenlisted and went to Diego Garcia. Steve took great joy in mowing his lawn and loved riding around the neighborhood with his tractor, until his wife bought him a John Deere gator. He had a talent with his hands and would design and cut out wooden miniatures. Steve was a homebody who liked watching cowboy movies.
Steve is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Jackie Logan; daughter, Tammy (Steven) Wineke nee Logan; three grandchildren: Logan William Wineke, Sierra Elizabeth Wineke, Steven (Becky) Michael Wineke; five siblings: Harold Logan, Kay Parker, Sue Bryson, Paul Logan, and John Logan.
In addition to his parents Steve was preceded in death by his brother, Lynn Logan.
The family would like to thank the Amedisys and VA staff for all that they have done for Steve.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
