Stephanie Collins Shine, 73, of Elkton, MD passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2015.
Born December 2, 1942 in New York, NY, Stephanie was the daughter of the late Adolpho and Theresa (Porzio) Baudassi.
As a former Army wife, she traveled the world before settling in Elkton. Stephanie completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Delaware. She worked in the legal field for many years and eventually joined the staff of Sandy Cove in North East. She had a lifelong passion for music and horticulture. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and Choir and the All Seasons Garden Club. Stephanie loved spending time with her beloved cats and her dog, Bella.
Stephanie is survived by her son, Ronald Collins, Jr. and his wife Anne Marie of Lansdale, PA; brother, John Baudassi and his wife Jackie of Alexandria, VA; sister-in-law, Kathleen Baudassi of Ortanna, PA; 3 grandchildren, Michael Collins, Jack Collins, and Sophie Collins; and 4 nieces and nephews, Matthew Baudassi, Brian Baudassi, Nicole Baudassi, and Danielle Baudassi. In addition to her parents, brother Peter Baudassi, and sister Irene Baudassi, Stephanie was preceded in death by her husband, Steven M. Shine, who passed away in 2008.
Visitation will take place on Friday, December 18, 2015 from 9:30 – 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 455 Bow Street, Elkton, MD 21921. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am at the church. Burial will follow the service at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Immaculate Conception Parish for the Steve and Stephanie Shine Scholarship. Donations may be sent to Immaculate Conception Church at 455 Bow Street, Elkton, MD 21921.
