RIP Aunt Sally. I have not been able to find the words to acknowledge your passing. Or what the loss of you means to me. You were the last link to my Dad. I found so much comfort in seeing you and talking to you. I loved listening to all the stories you would tell. I know how much you loved and adored him. I feel like when he died. You redirected all of that love to me. Thank you for the good times. All of the memories and laughter. Most of all your unwavering love. You are one of the most beautiful souls I know. Definitely the craftiest. Your kindness and ability to make people feel welcomed could have been bottled and sold. Along with your resilience and perseverance. You really were so strong with the highest tolerance for heartache and pain. I could never be half as strong as you. We never made that trip to Ellis Island to review our family heritage and records. I will make that trip in your honor. You have my word. I will miss every single thing about you. Thank you for being such a blessing. I know that you and my Dad had the best reunion in Heaven. Probably still laughing together now. I will cherish our last conversation forever. It was very brief but it means everything to me. Even though you were not feeling well you still showed love. "Helloooooooooooo Hi Honey. .................................Gotta go it hurts to talk. Tell the kids that I love them. I love you. Bye." I had no idea that would be the last time I spoke to you. Sally and I were best friends growing up in Brookhaven. I have many great memories of her, she was the Maid of Honor in my wedding 55 years ago. We lost touch over the years, last time I saw her was at a SVHS reunion, and she was as beautiful as ever. Sorry for your loss. May.she Rest In Peace.

Sally and I were best friends growing up in Brookhaven. We spent many a day hanging out and just being friends. She was my Maid of Honor in my wedding, 55 years ago. We lost touch and last time I saw her was at a Sun Valley reunion. She looked the same, beautiful as always. She was a fun, gentle person, may she Rest In Peace.

My heart is saddened to hear of her passing. She took me in when I had no where to go. She was a true inspiration of how to be a mom. She will forever be in my heart and in my memories. Love all of you always and forever.
