Samantha “Sam” Ann Ellsworth, age 48, passed away Sunday, April 01, 2018. She was born on December 27, 1969 in Siler City, NC to the late Barry Junior Jernigan and Mary Jeanette (Langley) Jernigan.
Sam had a great interest in the paranormal, reading and watching anything about the subject she could get a hold of. She also like to shop and take care of her home and dogs. Sam’s greatest joy came in talking to her grandchildren at every opportunity.
Sam is survived by her husband of 17 years, William “Bill” Ellsworth; two daughters: Jennifer Lane and her husband, Jeff, and Michelle Luciani and her husband, Chris and their children, Logan and Kaylee; son, Christopher Logan Ellsworth; two brothers: Wayne Jernigan and his wife, Lori, and Terry Jernigan and his wife, Laurie; two sisters: Mazie Grantham and her husband, Lee, and Pam Parrish; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and her beloved dogs Tampa, Savannah, and Tacoma.
In addition to her parents, Sam is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Richard Ellsworth.
Services for Sam will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
