Rosemary Nemeth Finlayson of Newark, DE, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at home. Rosemary was born in Homestead, PA on May 4, 1924. She was the daughter of Michael John Mille and Anna Rose Novack Mille of Pittsburgh, PA.
Rosemary was a graduate of Duquesne University. She was a loving spouse and mother, teacher, and active volunteer for Meals on Wheels and The Center of Hope.
She is predeceased by her parents, her first husband, Stephen Joseph Nemeth, her second husband, Kenneth Cooper Finlayson and her son, Stephen John Nemeth. She is survived by her children: daughter, Cathleen Nemeth Roberts and her husband, John of Bessemer City, NC; Charles Paul Nemeth and his wife, Jean Marie of Pittsburgh, PA; Thomas Robert Nemeth and his wife, Roxanne of Esparto, CA; James Edward Nemeth and his wife, Erzsebet of Severna Park, MD and daughter-in-law, Jan Nemeth of Wilmington, DE. Rosemary is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
The funeral and services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to “Mt. Aviat Academy” and sent in care of R.T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home, 122 W. Main Street, Newark, DE 19711.

My condolences to the family, and what a lucky family you are, to have had Rosemary! We lived across the street for 23 years, and I could not imagine a more wonderful neighbor. From keeping a eye on our house (she reported a break in!) to the annual exchange of cookies and just hanging on the lawn chatting she was a dear neighbor and friend.
