




Roberta P. Bullen, age 90, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016. She was born on August 21, 1926 in Burdine, KY to the late John Auther Plummer and Clara (Bellomy) Plummer.
Roberta was the past commander of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary and she volunteered at Perry Point Hospital in Perryville, MD for 30 years. She was a proud member of the St. Rose of Lima Church. Roberta enjoyed crafting and being with her children and grandchildren.
Roberta is survived by two daughters: Margaret Barlow and her husband, John C. Barlow of New London, PA, and Clara Bullen of Laurel, MD; her son, Harry W. Bullen, III and his wife, Mariann of Gaithersburg, MD; five grandchildren: Christine Barlow, Heather Barlow, Harry W. Bullen, IV, Peter Bullen and his wife M.J. and Theresa Bullen; one great grandchild, Alexander Rojas; and two nieces: Susan Ross and Patricia Manlove. In addition to her parents, Roberta is preceded in death by her husband, Harry W. Bullen, Jr., her daughter, Julia Bullen, three sisters: Julia Plummer, Frances Kelley, and Grace Wallace; and her brother, Denver Plummer.
A funeral service for Roberta will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 12PM at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main St., Elkton, MD 21921. Family and friends may begin visiting at 11AM. Burial will follow at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made payable to “St. Rose of Lima Church” and sent in care of the funeral home.
