Robert “Bob” E. Kane

July 14, 1964 - August 14, 2021

Robert E. Kane (Bob), of Newark, DE passed away on August 14, 2021, just one month after his 57^th birthday. It was a short but devastating illness that took his life.

Bob had a great sense of humor and a friendly personality. He could carry on a conversation with anyone. Even in his last days, he was thankful and considerate to those that gave him aid during his illness. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

Bob is survived by his parents, Jim and Rella Kane; daughter, Kimberly Kane of AZ; two sons: Robert Kane Jr, and his wife, Kayla of AZ and Tyler Kane and his fiancé, Kaitlyn of FL; three grandchildren: Kate, Logan, and Rylee; step-grandson, Akili; brother, Brian Kane and his wife, Denise of Bear, DE and many aunts, uncles, cousins, two nieces, and one nephew.

A graveside service will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

So so sorry for your loss. We all loved Bob at Brookside. He was also a great friend. He was always there for me at work and home. Prayers for your family. He will be missed so much. Loved him.

Bob had a very kind and generous soul. He will be missed by Soo many. Words cannot describe the love he had for his friends and family nor the unselfish nature towards the people around him. Jim and Rella you will always be in my thoughts and prayers. My prayers extend to his children, grandchildren, friends and family. He has left a lasting legacy of love, compassion, laughter and tears amongst everyone he knew. The Lord has embraced him out of his pain and he is in peace now. Love and miss you always.
