Mr. Renn Mearns “Biff” Murray, of Elkton, Maryland, passed away on September 7, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on September 28, 1957, in Wilmington, Delaware, he was a lifelong resident of the Newark, Delaware area and a graduate of Newark High School.
Affectionately known as “Biff,” Mr. Murray was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his son Joseph K. Murray and daughter-in-law L. Brooke Murray; his cherished grandsons Foster T. Murray and Liam R. Murray; and his sisters Brooke M. Grube, Wendy M. Weinmann, and Beth M. Cooper.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William G. Murray II and Grace B. Murray; his brother W. Grier Murray III; and his sister Lesley R. Neal.
Biff had a deep love for the outdoors and found great joy in boating, spending countless hours on the water throughout his life. His loyal dog Reggie was a constant companion during these times and held a special place in his heart.
A skilled carpenter by trade, Biff took pride in his craftsmanship and left behind work that reflected both talent and dedication. He will be remembered fondly by those who knew him for the warmth he brought into their lives and the lasting connections he made along the way.
