Phillip Warren Montgomery, age 60, of North East, Maryland, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 4, 2025. Phillip was born to H. Barry Montgomery and the late Bonnie Blakeley (Craig) on August 8, 1964, in Elkton, Maryland.
Phillip married Dara Montgomery (Fanucci) December 8, 1990, and they later welcomed four children into their lives. Phillip was known for being a jack of all trades with unmatched whit, enjoying hobbies like woodworking, riding his motorcycle, collecting antiques, and enjoying outdoor fun. Ever the adult kid, there was never a time you would see him without a racket ball in hand ready to play or cruising down the sidewalk on his hoverboard.
Phillip is survived by wife of 34 years, Dara, his four children, Alexandra Bedard, Madison Montgomery, Harley Montgomery, and Herbert Montgomery, his three grandchildren, Charlie Bedard, Autumn Bedard and Bodhi Bedard, his brother Todd Montgomery, and his best buddy Otis.
A visitation with Phillip’s Family will be held from 5:00pm – 8:00pm on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, Maryland 21911 where friends and family may visit. A private burial will be planned for a later date.
