Paul Frederick Miller, 68, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, surrounded by love.
Paul was a man of generous spirit and caring, if often irreverent, sense of humor that brought laughter to all who knew him. He possessed a remarkable depth of knowledge in carpentry and home renovations, always willing to share his expertise and lend a helping hand, whether to a close friend or a passing stranger.
He found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life: the exhilaration of fast boats, the breathtaking beauty of sunrises and moonrises over the Elk River, and especially the company of his many friends at his riverfront home.
Above all else, Paul was a devoted husband, a protector, and a hero for 50 years. He honored his marriage vows faithfully for 43 cherished years. His wife will miss her best friend tremendously.
Paul is survived by his wife, Rhandi Miller; mother, Jean Miller; siblings: Bruce Miller (Louisa) David Miller (Candice), Lorraine Miller Horton, Christopher Miller (Catherine), and Andrew Miller (Anne); sister-in-law, Gina Blanes (Juan); many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs, Trigger and Gunner.
He is also survived by a multitude of close friends who will forever remember his wit, his kindness, and his enduring spirit.
Paul is preceded in death by his father, Charles Everett Miller, Jr.
A celebration of Paul’s life will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 11AM at Elk Neck Baptist Church, 424 Oldfield Point Road, Elkton, MD 21921. Family and friends may attend the visitation beginning at 10AM. Burial will be private.
