Patrick “Pat” William Pannell Sr.

March 1, 1954 - August 1, 2020

Pat had two passions in his life, building and his family. As a builder, he was a master carpenter, building custom homes throughout his 30 year career. As a family man, Pat was the protector and took great joy in caring for and spending time with his family. Pat was known for his great sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. He will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Pat is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Connie Pannell; four children: Kristin Gent (fiancé Scott Downs), Patrick Pannell, Jr., Stephanie Serio and Matthew Pannell (fiancé Ashley Somers); ten grandchildren and four siblings: Mike Pannell, John Pannell, Judy Hassinger, and Louise Pannell. Pat is preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Pat for more than a smile and a wave, but spending a few days with his son Matt and his admiration for his father left me feel as though I had known Pat. Being a carpenter myself, I always hoped I had a son to carry on my legacy, but that didn't happen for me; Pat is certainly aware that his passion for carpentry and quality was safely instilled in Matt. I wish I had met Pat and was able to see where Matt received his talents. I can only hope that Pat's family revels in the joy that his legacy is alive and well.

I still can't believe he is gone. My heart breaks for the entire family. So many memories, Pat being the best man in my wedding , all the family gatherings, all those trips to Temple for John and John working side by side with Pat everyday. John has lost a great brother and a best friend. We will cherish those memories for ever. This truly hurts the heart. Pat will be missed by so many. Much love to you Connie and family.
