Nancy Jean Eldreth, 74, of Newark, Delaware, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 25, 2025. Born on March 18, 1951, in West Chester, Pennsylvania, she was the beloved daughter of the late James C. Eller and Agnes T. (Vople) Eller.
Nancy often saw herself as an artist. Her passion for creativity was evident in her paintings, counted cross stitch, and crocheting. In addition to her artistic pursuits, Nancy had a love for cooking. Her family often fondly recalled the rich aroma of her famous lasagna, a dish that brought everyone together around the dinner table. Nancy was also an avid traveler, exploring numerous countries, including Israel, Portugal, and Puerto Rico, collecting stories and experiences that she would share with those around her.
Nancy’s kind spirit, artistic flair, and culinary delights will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.
Nancy is survived by her children: John E. Siple, and Andrea M. Siple; grandchildren: Dana N. Siple, Dillon J. Siple, and Nathan W. Siple.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
