Margaret Ann Mattson Gill of Fair Hill, MD, age 90, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025. Margaret was born on September 5, 1934, in Kemblesville, PA to the late Thomas and Margaret Mattson.
Margaret is survived by two daughters: Rose Lowe of Worton, MD and Pat Reed of Fair Hill, MD, and a special friend who was like a daughter, Donna Harvey of Elkton, MD, 10 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren, Sister Anna Dixon of Kennett Square, PA, and Sister-in-law Joyce Rock, of Honey Brook, PA.
Margaret is preceded in death by her husband Donald Gill Sr., two sons: Donald Gill Jr. and Robert Gill, two daughters: Mary Gill and Donna Duffy, Grandson Nathan Cook, 2 sons-in-law, Dave Duffy and Bud Reed. Her parents Thomas and Margaret Mattson. Her brother Tom Mattson, and her sister Edna Gilbert.
A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at R. T. Foard & Jones – 122 West Main Street, Newark, Delaware, where family and friends may begin visiting at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at New London Methodist Cemetery.
