Michele Ann Nadolny, age 72, of Essex, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, in the home of her sister where she had resided for over a year and a half. Born on March 24, 1953, she was the cherished daughter of the late Melvin Nadolny, Edna (née Hartman) Carter and step daughter of Robert Carter.
Michele was a dedicated employee of the United States Postal Service, where she proudly served for over 35+ years before her well-earned retirement. She was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for her cat, whom she cared for and adored.
A woman of many quiet talents, Michele had a special gift for crocheting and created countless beautiful handmade pieces that were treasured by family and friends. She also enjoyed playing word games online, finding joy in the challenge, and connection.
Michele shared a deep and loving bond with her sister, Robin, which brought her great comfort and joy. Her presence was a source of warmth and laughter, and her memory will be forever held in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her devoted sister, Robin Matthews, and her husband, Jerry; her beloved nephew and “little buddy”, Robert Littlejohn, and his wife, Veronica; and her treasured great-nephews, Andrew Littlejohn, Robert Carter Littlejohn, Evan Littlejohn, and Hayden Littlejohn.
