Michael Ralph Begin

Michael Ralph Begin, age 68 of Elkton, MD passed away on December 10, 2025. He was born on February 10, 1957 in Detroit, MI to the late Clifford Vincent Begin, Sr. and Mary Agatha (Keeley) Begin.

Michael was born and raised in Detroit, MI. He married his high school sweet heart, Debra and they have been happily married for 50 years. Michael worked for Chrysler Corporation and was transferred to the Newark, DE Chrysler facility. He retired after 30 years. He then started his second career at DuPont as a Production Worker and retired after 10 years.

Michael was a very easy going, thoughtful, and selfless man. He would do whatever needed to be done to make things easier for his family. He was a true family man and was the happiest when spending time with them as well as his friends. Michael found great joy and excitement when travelling. He and his family travelled within the country and worldwide. His favorite destination was Hawaii- their peaceful place. Michael was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, loved to bowl and had interest in classic and antique cars. He had a sweet tooth for cake and always made sure to have multiple cakes available for his birthdays and holidays.

Michael is survived by his wife, Debra Begin; children: Nicholas Begin (Katie), Alexander Begin, and Heather Purnell; grandchildren: Harvyn, Meyer, Lily, and Noah; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Briggs and brothers: Skip and Joseph Begin.

Services for Michael will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to “American Cancer Society” and sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home: 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921
