Michael A. DiTeodoro, age 62 of Wilmington, DE passed away on December 24, 2017. He was born on April 4, 1955 in Newark, DE to Mario R. DiTeodoro and Lois J. (Abbott) DiTeodoro.
Michael was a simple man who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He listened to music ranging from classic rock to country and loved Willie Nelson and Pink Floyd. Michael could be found on his couch relaxing and watching old Western films, especially ones with Clint Eastwood. In his younger years, he loved being out on the water.
Michael is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth DiTeodoro of Wilmington, DE; son, Michael Forrester of Newark, DE; grandson, Christopher; and siblings: Linda Evans (Terry), Susan Holmes (Gerald), Mario DiTeodoro, Jr. (Florence), Laura Ventresca, Lisa DiTeodoro, and John DiTeodoro and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen DiTeodoro.
A Celebration of Michael’s Life will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 11:00am-12:00pm at R.T. Foard & Jones, Inc. 122 West Main Street, Newark, DE 19711. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to “National Veterans Foundation” and sent in care of the funeral home.
