Mary Weber, age 75 of Chesapeake City, MD passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. She was born on November 22, 1949, in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Joseph Swyka and Alice Mary (Quering) Swyka.
Mary worked as an office worker for 24 years at DuPont. Her commitment and dedication to her work were evident in everything she did.
Mary loved to go shopping, and some of her favorite places included Strawbridge’s and Christopher & Banks, where she would often spend joyful afternoons browsing for unique finds. Halloween held a special place in her heart, and she found joy in shopping for decorations that would transform her home. Mary also had a creative side that she expressed through ceramics, finding peace and fulfillment in crafting beautiful pieces. Mary will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Donald Weber; children: Jacquelyn Weber and Jennifer O’Day; grandchildren: Brittany Beigler and Nathaniel Pearson; great-grandchildren: Jordan Beigler and Jack Beigler; brothers: Joseph Swyka and his wife, Diane, and Michael Swyka; and sister, Margaret Jones and her husband, Kevin.
Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
