Mary Lee Younce, age 82, of Rising Sun, MD, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Union Hospital in Elkton, MD. She was born on March 24, 1935 in Grassy Creek, NC to the late Gaither and Maggie Johnson Powers.
A talented seamstress, Mary worked for several local clothing manufacturers over years. She also worked at the Rising Sun Cleaners for many years as well.
She is survived by her son, Rick Younce, of Abingdon, MD; sister, Jessie Miller, of Oxford, PA; and brother, Jack Powers, of Port Deposit, MD.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brothers, Bud Powers, and Robert Dale Johnson, and sister Matlene Cole.
