Mary E. Mazurick, age 88 of Elkton, MD passed away on October 7, 2018. She was born on July 26, 1930 in Washington, D.C. to the late Lawrence Edmund White and Vera Belle (Shaw) White.
Mary was a devout Christian and was a former member of Wallace Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed attending church activities and Bible studies. Mary was a loving mother to her three children: John, Nancy, and Robert. They will always remember their times spent on camping trips at Trap Pond State Park and other nature centers. Mary and her husband Andrew enjoyed traveling and ventured to warmer destinations such as Bermuda and the Bahamas.
Mary is survived by her sons: John Andrew Mazurick (Katharine) of North East, MD and Robert Paul Mazurick of Silver Spring, MD; daughter, Nancy Sue McKnight (Lowell) of Glen Burnie, MD; grandchildren: James Mazurick (Jacqueline) of Aberdeen, MD, Ryan Mazurick of Alexandria, VA, and Sean McGarry; and great-grandson, Corbin Mazurick.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Andrew John Mazurick; brother, William White; and niece, Diane Manning.
A Celebration of Mary’s life will be held on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 7:00PM at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921. Family and friends may attend the visitation beginning at 6:00PM. The graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 11:00AM at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, MD 20722. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to “Caraway Manor Assisted Living” and sent in care of the funeral home.
