Rich was a wonderful friend and co-worker to my dad. They had so much fun working together even after they retired they enjoyed talking to each other often. I'm sure my dad was there to meet him with some ham and cabbage and a chair so he could talk to his good friend.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Gary and Tonya Yoder left a message on March 28, 2019:
was a great, helpful neighbor who was also a friend. Always willing to help, or chit chat about life, family, the Lord, politics and other topics. As a retired police officer, he took it upon himself to look out for all of us living here at Spready Oak. He helped us move into this old house 15 years ago and shared memories of his grandparents as well as his parents living here. Tonya and I loved to hear his stories about him and his brothers playing in the yard. Richard also headed up security for several of our haunted houses. When he wasn't clearing our yards of pesty groundhogs or helping me "eliminate" not one, but two snakes from our cellar entrance last summer, we'd see him readying his boat for a fishing excursion on the Susky or driving golfballs towards the woods. Neighbors and friends like Richard are few and far between and my family will surely miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Linda, daughter Pam, son Duane, wife Mandie, his grandchildren and brother Barry and family as well as his law enforcement, softball, golfing, sporting and of course, church families. Thank you for being such a good friend Richard...rest in peace with your brother Dave, Mom and Pop, grandparents and the Lord who we know you believed in and loved so much. - Gary, Tonya, Mama Pearl, Tasha and Myah.
