Martha Dean Lee, age 75 of Newark, DE passed away surrounded by her family on January 25, 2017. She was born on November 7, 1941 in Wilmington, DE to the late Charles Ballance and Mildred (Ingram) Ballance.
Martha is survived by her daughters: Heidi Skopowski and her husband, Peter of Newark, DE and Wendy Schuchardt and her husband, Benjamin of Langhorn, PA; and three grandsons: John, Warren, and Shane.
In addition to her parents, Martha is preceded in death by her husband, Ferris O. Lee and brother, Charles Ballance.
Martha was a 1959 graduate of Conrad High School and attended the Wilmington General Hospital School of Nursing. After marrying Ferris, Martha traveled the world as an Army wife. They settled in Newark Delaware following his retirement.
As per Martha’s wishes, her funeral and burial were held privately.
